Peter Knight's new work for the Australian Art Orchestra, Diomira, is nominated for the 2017 Art Music Awards 'Instrumental Work of the Year'. In 2016 it was awarded the Albert H Maggs composition prize. Video by Scott Morrison. Japan and other stuff
From 20th to 28th July I am in Japan working on new AAO commissions with Aaron Choulai and Keiichiro Shibuya. I'm also playing with Joe Talia Wed 26th @ Apollo Shimokitazawa
In August The AAO is on the road for shows with its Water Pushes Sand project with musicians from Sichuan playing Darwin Festival, Jazzlab in Melbourne, Ainslie Arts Centre Canberra and MONA in Hobart. in September the group is performing in a range of different concerts in Melbourne, Tasmania and Adelaide.
