I toured with the Australian Art Orchestra to the incredible Barunga Festival in Northern Territory to play a series of concerts with Aviva Endean, Chris Hale, Simon Barker, Sunny Kim and David and Daniel Wilfred. After Barunga we headed to David and Daniel’s hometown, Ngukurr, in remote Southeast Arnhem Land. We played Ngukurr Arts Centre and spent a lot of time sharing and learning. It was a life changing experience. Here’s an ABC story on Barunga Festival. Watch from 1 minute in.
